What’s On Frankston is the central place to find all public events happening in Frankston City and surrounds, these may be ticketed or free to attend.

It is free to list your event.

Commercial businesses are welcome to submit events for promotion; however please note that listings which advertise products, weekly specials, sales or regular services will not be accepted.

Guidelines

For events to be listed on What’s On Frankston the following guidelines apply:

• The event must be open to the general public and have broad appeal to residents and visitors.
• The event must be staged within the Frankston City Council municipal boundary or neighbouring suburb (in some circumstances exceptions may apply, please contact the team via tourism@frankston.vic.gov.au
• The event organiser warrants that they have all appropriate approvals prior to listing their event (e.g. approvals and permits to use the venue, promotional images etc.).
• The event organiser is responsible for ensuring that the event is staged safely and in accordance with all relevant public health directions.
• The event organiser must not include images that may be offensive, inappropriate or in violation of copyright laws.
• The event organiser is responsible for managing their event listing and ensuring the accuracy of the information presented. Updates can be submitted using the online form or will be carried through automatically when the listing is on other public websites (updates on other platforms may take 2-4 business days to appear on What’s on Frankston.

Events will not be considered, if it is deemed:

• To have the potential to adversely affect Frankston City Council’s public image or reputation;
• To conflict with Council’s values, policies or statutory responsibilities;
• To be political in nature, offensive, abusive or racist;
• To be a sales promotion or special offer;
• To be incomplete by lack of specific time, date or organiser contact details.

All listings must contain the following information:

• Event name
• Event title
• Event location
• Description including ticket information (if applicable)
• Contact details; and
• A suitable image – a hero image that you have the rights to use that is a true reflection of the event. The image must be free of logos and text.

Events are reviewed, removed or added in accordance with these guidelines and any decision by the What’s On Frankston team is final.

Information presented on What’s On Frankston may be sourced from other websites and the owners of What's On Frankston are not responsible for views or opinions expressed or errors or omissions in the information shared.

By publishing events to What’s On Frankston, Frankston City Council is in no way endorsing the event.

The What's On Frankston team review and approve events submitted before they are displayed on the website. Listings may be edited for style and length.
